Nitesh Dullabh
Governing Board President

Nitesh Dullabh is the CEO and Founder of 2POD Ventures, a company with the mission to empower and guide public and private entities in implementing their Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) ambitions with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Dullabh has worked and lived in South Africa, China, the U.S. and has worked with Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industry sectors. He is a master designer and developer of sustainability strategies and implementation plans who had the privilege of serving in Nelson Mandela’s government as Director of the Department of Trade & Industry in South Africa and as Commercial Attaché to the South African Embassy in China, where he and his team grew South African exports to China by $1 billion in 2001 and facilitated value-add investments from eight Chinese major state-owned enterprises. The estimated sustainable investments were valued at $20 million that created 350 new jobs. He also built enterprise and risk-management and governance solutions for global companies.

Dullabh was part of a number of start-ups in Silicon Valley and has been focused on sustainability and socio-economic issues in the public and private sectors for the past 25 years. He has guided many organizations in building resilient sustainability programs and projects with sound ESG principles. Dullabh has an MBA from Henley Management College in the UK, an MA in International Relations, and speaks Mandarin Chinese. His interests are in ESG issues, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a focus on change management. Nitesh is a student of the Enneagram, loves the outdoors, and enjoys cooking. Nitesh lives in Palo Alto, California, USA, with his wife and two sons.

 

Chhavi Maggu, MEng, SEP
Governing Board Vice President

Chhavi Maggu is a Sustainability Strategy Manager with Accenture’s practice based in London, United Kingdom. She works across energy transition and sustainability topics, primarily with clients in the energy, utilities, and natural resources sectors globally. She has a deep interest in future energy and mobility systems, including green hydrogen, smart city initiatives, and opportunities in the green economy, and is an active contributor to Accenture’s thought leadership on topics related to the low-carbon economy transition.

Chhavi graduated from University College London with first class honours to earn a Master’s of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering. Her masters work included a year at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she conducted research on carbon dioxide capture materials. She is a Sustainability Excellence Professional (SEP) credential-holder as well as certified in Analytics-Powered Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Business Strategy from INSEAD. Chhavi’s passion for environmental sustainability led her to align her professional career with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, including work with innovation labs, such as UNLEASH and +Acumen's programme on designing for sustainability and social impact.

 

Bangaly Kourouma, M.S.
Governing Board Treasurer

Bangaly Kourouma, Division Manager for Technology Infrastructure at Austin Energy, is a trusted technology leader in the electric utility industry. At Austin Energy, Bangaly leads key deliverables of a multi-year Strategic Infrastructure Transformation Program and manages the Network Infrastructure/Communications team tasked with enabling and maintaining Austin Energy's corporate network and VOIP infrastructure. With a proven record of building high-performing teams focusing on strategies for IT resource allocations, he ensures maximized business value while consistently prioritizing sustainability and carbon footprint reduction.

In Bangaly's previous role as Information Technology Team Lead at Con Edison Company, one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the U.S., he furthered the company's strategy regarding the electric grid, the integration of clean energy technology, and the impact on operational needs. Bangaly has more than 17 years of skilled project management, IT strategy, and hands-on implementation experience, delivering operational impact across the electric utility, financial, and nonprofit industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the City University of New York and an Executive Master of Science in Technology Management from Columbia University.

 

Olusheun Olaoshebikan
Governing Board Secretary

Olusheun Olaoshebikan has worked on sustainability and human rights issues for nearly a decade. In his current role as a Sustainability Strategy and Disclosure Manager at Environmental Resources Management, he assists companies to integrate ESG risks, impacts, and opportunities into their business and corporate strategies.

Olusheun previously worked for non-governmental organizations, inter-governmental organizations, and in the private sector with years of international experience in Africa, Europe, and Latin America. He is fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and African and African-American Studies from the University of Chicago, a Master of Arts degree in French from Middlebury College, a Master of Arts degree in French Cultural Studies in a Global Context from Columbia University, and a Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center.

 

Trisha Bauman, M.S.
Governing Board Member

Trisha Bauman is a sustainability strategist specializing in the market opportunities for advancing positive social impact and regenerative development. She is Principal and Founder of TJBauman LLC, a New York City firm designing strategic communications, investor pitches, stakeholder engagement plans, and cross-sector partnerships for scaling sustainability initiatives. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies, to NGOs, to early-stage ventures developing market solutions for social innovation, decarbonization, and the circular economy.

Through data-driven storytelling, she creates winning leadership communications for clients presenting at venues such as the Skoll World Forum for Social Entrepreneurship, Golden Seeds Venture Fund, the Fidelity Investments Quant Summit, the Harvard Business School Summit on Gender and Work, Springboard Enterprises, TED Conferences, and numerous TEDx Conferences.

She teaches on the faculty at Columbia University's M.S. in Strategic Communication and at Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s M.A. in Sustainable Design, and is a frequent guest speaker at organizations, universities, and international conferences. She serves as a Director at the United Nations Association of New York City.

A certified mindfulness meditation teacher through the MMTCP program at the Greater Good Science Center at UC-Berkeley, Trisha has taught mindfulness in diverse communities around the world. She has degrees from Bowdoin College (BA, magna cum laude, in Economics and in History) and from Columbia University (MS, Strategic Communication with a concentration in Sustainable Development).

 

Gary Tong
Governing Board Member

Gary started his ESG journey shortly since 2008. During the first decade, he joined several diversity teams at The Boeing Company, volunteered in local nonprofit organizations in Seattle, WA, and held various leadership positions in Boeing Asian American Professional Association. Since 2018, he started to shift towards the sustainability field and help create more sustainable packaging.

Gary has over 15 years’ industrial and consulting experience in leading mid-scale, multinational operational enterprise improvement programs and transformations as an internal consultant and an executive. Prior to AlixPartners, he was a vice president of engineering, innovation, and manufacturing in Kwik Lok Corporation, a global family-owned packaging company, where he oversaw P&L, manufacturing process improvement including industrial internet of things (IIoT) and digital ecosystem, and 5-year product & sustainability roadmap from a global perspective. As an engineering manager and site leader, he led many emergent recovery supplier and program efforts at Boeing. He started his career as an aircraft interior design engineer. Gary holds his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UW Seattle, and Master of Science in Technology Management from Columbia University. He is an MBA candidate from Kelley School of Business. In addition, he holds an EIT license and is Stanford Certified Project Manager.

 
 

Nicole Cacal
Governing Board Member

Nicole Cacal is a highly regarded leader in the tech and entrepreneurship fields, with a passion for advancing the Filipino community. She is the Founder and CEO of Forbes Ignite, a consultancy advising global companies on how to innovate at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and social impact. Nicole is also the Founder and CEO of Katalista.org, a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurship in the Filipino community. A dedicated lecturer at the Parsons School of Design and a visiting professor at the Pratt Institute, she teaches courses on financial management, business models, social innovation, and strategic technology to the next generation of diverse leaders. She also engages in-depth conversations with mission-driven individuals who are redefining success through the Forbes Ignite podcast, “Inner Wealth.”

Nicole holds a BBA in Finance & International Business from the University of Hawaii, an MSc in Strategic Design & Management from the Parsons School of Design, and an MSc in Technology Management from Columbia University.

She also has a proven ability in fostering positive, collaborative work culture and focusing on sustainability and designing impactful strategies to drive scalable change.
